The Executive Director of the National Union of Meat Processors Ekaterina Luchkina said that suppliers more often violate obligations, arbitrarily changing the delivery time and price.

According to her, the retail price of sausage and semi -finished products in the near future can increase by 5-12%.

AGRIFOOD Strategies President Albert Dastyev referred to the rise in price of feed and prohibition of meat imports from Brazil, which led to a decrease in competition. The chairman of the Board of Directors of Ostankino, Mikhail Popov, said that the outbreak of African plague of pigs also influenced the situation.
