Maxim Balashov is one of the active leaders of the university solidarity union. He managed to achieve salaries to the MIPT teachers. At a competitive meeting, members of the Scientific Council criticized the social activities of Maxim Balashov. There were no complaints about his scientific and teaching work. Representatives of the Confederation of Labor of Russia and the University Solidarity trade union believe that the competition was held with violations, and the composition of the Academic Council of the MIPT did not correspond to the charter. Activists launched an international company in defense of the scientist Maxim Balashov. The MIF press service did not comment on the situation, because "the speaker on this issue is now unavailable."
