"Russian Post" will allow to issue letters and parcels without a passport

To do this, they will have to make an electronic signature.

In all departments of the “Russian Post”, letters and parcels can be obtained without showing a passport and without filling out a notification. All receipts will be issued if there is an electronic signature.

To get an electronic signature, you need to submit an application by mail or by an email address. After that, it will not be necessary to fill out paper notifications: it is enough to name the surname, name and patronymic. Then comes an SMS message or Push notification in the mobile mail application with a confirmation code.

The company said that thanks to the innovation, the time for issuing letters and parcels will be reduced by five times. Technology testing was carried out in 18 regions of Russia. Safety gaps are due to the fact that the criminal, a steamer, can pick up the parcel for the client, or the SMS notification will come much later due to the heavy load on the network.
