The CEC approved the wording of questions for the referendum on pension reform

The Central Election Commission approved the formulations of questions for the referendum on pension reform proposed by three initiative groups. It is reported by RBC.

The initiative group, led by Ilya Sviridov, candidate for mayor of Moscow from Fair Russia, formulated the question as follows: "You are not changing the age established by the legislation of the Russian Federation as of July 1, 2018, upon reaching an old -age pension?"

The initiative group formed by the Communist Party of the Communist Party of the Communist Party of the Communist Party: “Do you agree that the age established by the legislation of the Russian Federation as of July 1, 2018 agrees, the achievement of which gives the right to appoint an old -age insurance pension (for men - 60 years, for women - 55 years) should not increase?”

Two residents of the Moscow Region, Semenov and Shirobokov, proposed the following option: “Do you support that the age established by the legislation of the Russian Federation as of July 1, 2018, after which the right to old -age pension arises, cannot be increased?”

The right to hold a referendum will receive the one of the initiative groups that will be the first to register departments in 43 regions (that is, in half of the 85 constituent entities of the Federation, including the annexed Crimea and Sevastopol, plus another region). Further, activists will need to collect 2 million signatures for the referendum within 45 days, and in each of the regions - no more than 50 thousand.

Last month, the Communist Party has already applied for a referendum on pension reform, however, on the 27th,the CEC rejected it , referring to the unexpunction of the formulation of the issue.

The government bill, increasing the retirement age for men from 60 to 65 years, and for women from 55 to 63, the State Duma adopted in the first reading on July 19 . In society, the initiative was perceived extremely negatively. In a number of regions, protests continue.
