In Tyva, a journalist was fined for reposting an article by The New Times

In Tuva, journalist Oyuma Dongak was fined 1,000 rubles for reposting a four-year-old The New Times article. It is reported by MBH Media.

Dongak was found guilty of public display of Nazi symbols (Article 20.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses) because of the photograph of the "Union of German Girls", which was an illustration for the article . The judge refused to call the author of the material Artur Solomonov as a witness and to conduct a cultural examination of the article.

• Oyumu Dongak was detained on 7 August. According to her, law enforcement officers demanded that she confess her guilt and threatened to send her to a special detention center pending trial.
