The case of the ex-chief doctor of the Central Clinical Hospital of the SB RAS was sent to court

The prosecutor's office of the Sovetsky district of Novosibirsk sent to court the case of the ex-chief physician of the Central Clinical Hospital of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences in Novosibirsk, accused of embezzlement of budget funds.

According to investigators, in July 2017, the acting chief physician, with the complicity of her husband and a friend of the deputy director of AL Sibtrade LLC, concluded a state contract for the repair of medical laboratory equipment with the replacement of spare parts in the amount of more than 2 million rubles. However, the equipment was serviceable and did not require such repairs, according to the prosecutor's office. According to the Academ Online website, we are talking about Ekaterina Komissarova, who previously held this position.

After the institution transferred funds for the work allegedly rendered by the society, 1 million rubles were cashed in Barnaul and transferred personally to the spouse of the accused.

In addition, the acting head physician used a UAZ car put on the balance sheet of the hospital for personal purposes. The car, with the complicity of the spouse, was transported to one of the districts of the Altai Territory, where he had a land plot.

According to the results of the investigation, all persons who contributed to the commission of crimes were brought to criminal responsibility for complicity in the commission of theft under various articles of the criminal law.

In order to ensure compensation for the damage caused by the crimes, the property of the accused was seized in the amount of 2.4 million rubles.
