The choice of the arena is due to the number of fans of the Omsk team in the suburbs. According to the chairman of the board of directors of HC Avangard Alexander Krylov, there is a large army of avant -garde fans.

Earlier, the team chose options between stadiums in Mytishchi and in Krasnoyarsk. Moreover, the Vanguard site in Krasnoyarsk could become the recently rebuilt Platinum Arena. The chairman of the board of directors of the club explained that the Krasnoyarsk site is only rebuilt, and all preparatory actions there must be started from scratch. Krylov said that now there are many options, how fans will be able to monitor the team.
