Today, August 10, an order was issued by the Federal Service for Supervision of Education and Science (Rosobrnadzor), which provides a license for educational activities in St. Petersburg (EUSPB). The previous EUSPB license was canceled in 2017.
The order is published on the EUSPB website . It refers to the provision of a license to the university for the implementation of educational activities under 13 educational programs.
Rosobrnadzor instructs the management of public services to issue and issue a license and an application to a license for these educational programs, as well as on the day of publication, to make a record for the provision of an EUSPB license to the register of educational activities.
Within 10 days from the date of publication of the order, information will be posted on the Rosobrnadzor website.
At the end of 2016, Rosobrnadzor decided to suspend the state license of the EUSPB. This decision was preceded by numerous checks that revealed several formal violations at the university.
In January 2017, it became known that the Committee for Property Relations of St. Petersburg filed a lawsuit in the Arbitration Court of St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region on the termination of the contract for the lease and eviction of the EUSPB from the mansion in the city center "In connection with non -compliance with the terms of the contract in terms of the requirements of the Committee on State Control, the use and Protection of History and Culture Monuments." As explained in the EUSPB, the basis for the claim was the presence of plastic windows on the yard facades and several temporary partitions inside the building.
In March 2017, the Arbitration Court of St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region decided to cancel the EUSPB license. In September, the University was forced to free the occupied premises.
In June 2018, the university submitted documents for a new license, in early August, Rosobrnadzor conducted an audit in the EUSP, which did not reveal any violations at the university.
