The European University in St. Petersburg received its license back

Update . The university announced that they would reinstate students who had to interrupt their studies a year ago due to the revocation of their license.

The Federal Service for Supervision in Education and Science (Rosobrnadzor) issued a license for educational activities to the European University at St. Petersburg.

A copy of the relevant order of Rosobrnadzor, dated August 10, is at the disposal of Interfax.

According to the document, the European University will also receive an application to the license for 13 educational programs - in the master's and postgraduate programs.

• The European University at St. Petersburg, founded in 1994, is considered one of the best non-state universities in Russia. He lost his license for educational activities at the end of 2016, after which he applied several times for its renewal. In July, it became known that the university had successfully passed the inspection of Rosobrnadzor.
• In June, Rosobrnadzor withdrew state accreditation from the Moscow Higher School of Social and Economic Sciences (Shaninka), which is also one of the best non-state universities in the country.
