Decisions on the arrests of the Kamchatka Jehovists of the Popovs were canceled

On August 9, the judge of the Kamchatka Kraisud Olga Alekseeva abolished the decision to send Mikhail Popov to the Jehovista pre -trial detention center. This was reported on Saturday by the website of "Jehovah's Witnesses" in Russia.

The next day, the judge of the regional court, Yevgeny Kirillov, canceled the decision on the home arrest of Elena Popova, the wife of Mikhail.

What measures of restraint are now assigned to believers are not specified.

The Popovs were detained on July 30 following searches that held several residents of Vilyuchinsk in houses and cars. In the searches, dozens of armed special forces of the FSB in Balaclavas, as well as police officers, participated, one of whom demonstrated a certificate in the name of Major Sutyagin.

The investigator of the city department of the Investigative Committee of the Justice Viktor Ushakevich is engaged in the case. Both spouses were charged under Part 1 of Article 282.1 (organization of an extremist community; from 6 to 10 years of colony) and part 1 of Article 282.2 of the Criminal Code (organization of the activities of an extremist organization; sanction is the same). As it can be assumed, according to the first of the articles, episodes are qualified, which date back to the ban on the management center of Jehovah's Witnesses, and the second - subsequent ones.

On August 1, the judge of the Vilyuchinsky City Court Nadezhda Khorhordin sent 56-year-old Popov to the pre-trial detention center. Meanwhile, she postponed the hearing about the measure of suppression of his wife, and two days later, on August 3, she refused the TFR to send a believer in a pre -trial detention center, placing her under house arrest.

Meanwhile, since the beginning of August, it became known about several cases aroused against Jehovah's witnesses in other regions of Russia. In particular, information appeared that on July 30, 44-year-old Dmitry Barmakin was arrested in Vladivostok under Part 1 of Article 282.2 of the Criminal Code.

On the 2nd, it turned out that in Kostroma the case was open against 22-year-old Sergei Ryman and his 25-year-old wife Valeria. As it turned out, Ryman was sent to the pre -trial detention center on July 26 under Part 1 of Article 282.2 of the Code. His wife was assigned the prohibition of certain actions the rest of the restraint the next day; The believer is charged with part 2 of the same article (participation in the activities of such an organization), the sanction of which is from 2 to 6 years.

On the morning of August 2, the FSB conducted searches at least four addresses in Khabarovsk. Some citizens were taken to the police department, from where they released after surveys and dactyloscopy. Others were brought to the regional head of the special services, where they were interrogated by investigator V. Balakirev.

Meanwhile, 51-year-old Valery Moskalenko was detained under part 2 of article 282.2 of the Criminal Code. During a search, which lasted about five hours, an 83-year-old mother of a believer who has a pacemaker installed, it became bad; She was called an ambulance.

According to some reports, on August 3, Moskalenko was sent to a pre -trial detention center.

Meanwhile, in Orenburg of the same on the 3rd day, the judge of the Leninsky district court of the city Inna Yangubaeva transferred from the pre -trial detention center to the house arrest of two defendants in the local case of Jehovah's Witnesses - Vladimir Kochnev and Alexander Suvorov. In total, in the case, which became known after the searches on May 16 in Orenburg and Buzuluk, nine people were involved. One was immediately sent under house arrest, still six were taken from the unsuccessful subscriptions. All nine defendants were charged with part 2 of article 282.2 of the Code.

On the same day, on August 3, the Magadan Regional Court, having examined the appeal, replaced the imprisonment in the pre -trial detention center of one of the four defendants in the local Jehovist, 31 -year -old Konstantin Petrov. Three other believers, as far as can be concluded from the publication, remain in conclusion. All four, detained on May 30, are accused of part 1 of Article 282.2 of the Criminal Code.
