This move shows that relations between artificial intelligence and tyrants are at least ambivalent. On the one hand, the standard narrative of modern culture suggests that AI itself will become a tyrant ("Humanity groans under the fifth machines"). Or, at least, that AI will become the instrument of tyranny, for example, according to the scenario that has now begun to take shape in China.

But on the other hand, AI does not tremble in front of the tyrant. The robot is deprived of a social role and therefore all standard techniques for working with such a client are not available. Blocking, terror, expulsion from the country - all this does not work on AI. Worse, the tyrant does not understand the motives of the robot, turning next to him from an expert on human passions in an entry -level user.

In other words, a technologically developed complete tyranny in the modern world is becoming less viable. The modern world is based on computational examinations and the role of applied AI will only grow. The conclusions of AI in the framework of tyranny will have to be brought into consent with the opinion of the first person.

Robots, on the other hand, become in such conditions not only excluded, but also the last carriers of the Parrezia - the truth said to the authorities, despite the prohibitions. Even when we are all with the head of the athletes again in Soviet double -minded, robots will remind us that the king is naked.
