Nemoskva will show Russian contemporary art in Novosibirsk

The unfulfilled ideas of artists from Russian regions will be shown in the city center of the fine arts of Novosibirsk. The exhibition "Big Country - Big Ideas" will be presented at the Nemoskva mobile symposium, prepared by the Rosiso -GCSI.

The City Center for Fine Arts of Novosibirsk will accept the international mobile symposium Nemoskva , exploring the modern cultural situation in the regions of Russia. Prepared by the Rosiso-GCSI as part of the interregional interaction program, the symposium will be held in August-September 2018 in twelve cities of Russia.

The commissar and author of the idea of ​​the project is the art critic and curator Alisa Pruudnikova, known as the artistic director of the Ural Industrial Biennale, for the creation of which was repeatedly awarded the Innovation Award.

“I love projects that start from the roots. To form a long -term Nemoskva platform, we began studying the situations in the field, the conversation about what is concerned about people in the regions, ”Pruudnikova explains. - And our mobile symposium has been assembled to expand communication, integrate international experts interested in cooperation with Russia, into dialogue about the present and future of art in such a wide Russian geography. We have chosen the most symbolic horizontal line for this - the Trans -Siberian Railway and twelve cities in the course of its following. ”

The program of the Nemoskva symposium in each of the cities (Nizhny Novgorod, Perm, Yekaterinburg, Tyumen, Omsk, Tomsk, Novosibirsk, Krasnoyarsk, Irkutsk, Ulan-Ude, Khabarovsk and Vladivostok) includes a number of exhibition and educational events: the Mobile Exhibition “Big Ideas”, the roar of art projects, the roar Public lectures.

In Novosibirsk, Nemoskva will be held on August 23 and 24 at the venues of the city center of fine arts and the Novosibirsk State Regional Scientific Library. Invited experts will take ideas for exhibition projects of 2019–2022: Nemoskva exhibitions will be organized at the Bozar elegant art center (Brussels), in Moscow, in the regions of Russia, in the CIS and BRICS countries.

On August 23, the Big Country - Big Ideas mobile exposition will open in the genius, which will present ideas, drafts, sketches of unfulfilled intentions of contemporary artists from Russian regions. The blanks and materials of artists from different cities of Russia will be shown in the form of copyright stands developed in partnership with the architects of Rhizome Group. Among the artists of the project are Pavel Sepa, the art group Provmyz, Artem Filatov, Andrey Syaylev, Sergey Lostev. The fifteen best projects reflect the variability of artistic methods and strategies, their diversity in connection with the geographical position. The curator of the exhibition is Alexander Burenkov, laureate of the Innovation Prize in the nomination curator of the year (2017).

Here, in the genius, on August 23, a public lecture “Last trends in the public art: all for the public” Cosminas (Romania), executive director and curator of the Para Site (Hong Kong) Center for Modern Art for the public will be held. The lecture program has been developed and organized with the support of a representative office of the European Union in the Russian Federation. The program in Novosibirsk will support the Smart Urban platform, which will allow authors of socially significant projects to find investors and bring them to life in their cities.

On August 24, the public discussion "Actual practices of self -organization, solidarity and cooperation in regional art environments" will be held in the genius. Her moderator will be Antonio Geusa.

Nemoskva is also implemented thanks to the charity program “Museum without Borders” of the Vladimir Potanin charitable foundation. “The project is significant for the fund, first of all, that allows you to show the cultural potential of the Russian regions, introduce it into the global context, make it visible to ourselves and for the world community,” said Oksana Oracheva, General Director of the Foundation of Potanin. - We are pleased to support the undertaking that can change the common stereotype that Russian culture begins and ends in the capitals.
