The collapse of the bridge in Genoa: 35 dead

During the collapse of the automobile bridge, 35 people were killed in Genoa, including one child. It is reported by La Repubblica.

14 people are injured, five of them are in serious condition. Another 10 remain missing.

The authorities of the commune Genoa announced on August 15 and 16 days of mourning for the dead.

The bridge was part of the A10 paid vehicle. He hit at about 11:30 local time (12:30 Moscow time) during a rain. According to an eyewitness, then eight to nine cars were driving along the bridge.

The fragments of the bridge and cars fell into the river, on the railway tracks and buildings.

The bridge has been operating since the 1960s. Two years ago he was rebuilt.
