The Investigative Committee was detained by the mayor of Orenburg Evgeny Arapov. He is suspected of receiving a bribe.
According to the SK, Arapov and his deputy Gennady Borisov received 600 thousand rubles from the director of an unnamed company "for the protection in the field of construction." Of this amount, 400 thousand rubles were intended for Arapov, 200 thousand - Borisov.
