Mikhail Khodorkovsky created a fund to investigate crimes against journalists

Businessman Mikhail Khodorkovsky and his former business partner Leonid Nevzlin set up a fund to investigate crimes against journalists, Justice for Journalists. This was reported on Khodorkovsky's Facebook page.

states The foundation's website that Khodorkovsky and Nevzlin have allocated five million dollars for the work of the organization; it is specified that this is the "initial amount".

The purpose of the foundation is to organize and finance international investigations of crimes against journalists, regardless of where they were committed and motives.
