Arapov is suspected of taking a bribe. According to investigators, the mayor, together with his deputy Gennady Borisov, who was recently arrested for bribes, received 600 thousand rubles from the general director of a commercial organization for patronage in the construction industry.

According to a TASS source in law enforcement agencies, now Arapov is being treated in a hospital, after he is discharged, the investigation intends to apply for a preventive measure.
