The coordinator of the Left Front Sergey Udaltsov, arrested on Tuesday for 30 days for participating in the previous 28 -agreed march and a rally of left -wing forces against pension reform, holds a dry hunger strike. This was reported at her FB page Anastasia Udaltsova, the wife of a politician.
Udaltsov announced the hunger strike immediately after the arrest, but so far it was believed that he refused only food, but not from water. Meanwhile, the wife of politics noted when he was transferred to the water specialist on the Wednesday, it turned out that the hunger strike is dry.
Udaltsov was detained after lunch on August 14 and delivered to OP "Krasnoselsky". There they fabricated the protocol under part 8 of Article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (re -violation of the procedure for conducting public events), accusing portraits of “persons similar to the heads of the state” on July 28, namely the State Duma of Vyacheslav Volodin and Valentina Matvienko, as well as the chairman of the Accounts Chamber, Alexei Kudrin.
On the same day, the judge of the Meshchansky District Court of Moscow, Julia Mordvina , sent Udaltsova to a specialist in the evening.
The politician did not plead guilty, indicating that the security forces of claims against him did not make at the rally. He explained the fabrication of the protocol by the desire of the authorities to prevent him from preparing new shares against pension reform, in particular the procession and rally scheduled for September 2. Another motive for the persecution, Udaltsov called the desire of officials to exclude him from the campaign for the election of the mayor of Moscow - in it he acts as a trustee of the Communist Party candidate Vadim Kumin.
