In Cheboksary, activists from Alexei Navalny's headquarters, Ivan Maletin and Marina Polytova, were detained for writing in chalk on the pavement: "9/09 Against pension reform!" This was reported on the twitter of the headquarters.
The activists were taken to police station No. 1, their passports were taken away and they were taken to different rooms. In addition, the police forced the activists to take fingerprints.
Polytova is no longer kept in the department, but they do not give copies of the protocol on delivery and explanatory notes. Maletin does not get in touch.
According to the staff of the headquarters, the policemen threaten the activists with leaving them for the night and a criminal case under the article on vandalism (Article 214 of the Criminal Code).
