In the Moscow region, employees of Center “E” detained Viktor Karpovich and his friend, whose name was not specified, during the Icebreaker music punk festival. This was reported by OVD-Info with reference to Karpovich himself.
The detention of two festival participants was also reported on the Prometheus telegram channel. It was alleged that the police were inspecting people approaching the railway station in the Ramensky district.
According to Karpovich, employees of Center “E” came to the festival and asked who the organizers of the event were, who were not there at the time. Karpovich and his friend took on the role of organizers. As a result, they were detained.
According to him, they are now being taken to give explanations to the police department, presumably in the Ramenskoye district.
The festival group reports that the event will not take place at this location. According to Karpovich, one of the security officials said that they would not allow the festival to be held “under any pretext.”
Later it became known that the police detained two more festival participants. They are all taken to the police department in civilian cars.
At seven in the evening it became known that all the detainees were released from the police department after giving explanations.
