The Kirovsky District Court of St. Petersburg fined Alexandra Shelepova and Yuri Gavrikov 10,000 rubles each for participating in a rally in support of LGBT people. About this writes "Zaks.ru" with reference to the activist of the "Alliance of Heterosexuals and LGBT for Equality" Alexei Nazarov.
Shelepova and Gavrikov were found guilty of violating the rules for holding the rally (part 5 of article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses).
Earlier, two other LGBT activists Vyacheslav Vereshchagin and a priest of the Association of Christian Eucharistic Communities Alexander Khmelev were fined 150 and 170 rubles respectively for the same action. Another participant in the action, Alexander Akshentsev, was fined 10,000 rubles. In addition, underage participants of the action were summoned to the Commission on juvenile affairs.
