Russia needs enlightenment

Today, our Russian society today does not significantly get an active promotion of an educational mission related to culture and historical memory. Today, many state and regional media have become largely the rubrapor of militarism, "sovereigns", cheers -patriotism, anti -war (anti -Americanism), a special path - anything, but not humanity, humanism, world -degree, tolerance.

Today we are lacking an appeal to the commandments of humanity, awakening in a person a conscience, helping him to become a worthy citizen of his Fatherland, capable of self -reflection and critical thinking about what is happening. Maybe our state should today more attention to the popularization of the works of Russian and foreign classics, translating the stories of conscientious people and conscientious statesmen, speaking of the "history of human conscience" and cultural texts?

It must be admitted that the Afanasyevsk "aggressive-auditory majority" remained aggressive and obedient in his dreams about the revival of "Evil Empire". Russia should return to the bosom of European civilization, placing a fat point in attempts to lead it along the destructive path of Eurasianism. Only democratic, liberal and universal values ​​are able to cure our country from the totalitarian chimer of the past, putting a reliable barrier on the path of restoration of imperial-Soviet orders that oppressed every free person in our country. The aggressiveness caused in Russian society by the “post -Persian syndrome” and “sivuish patriotism” should be overgrown with culture.
