In Ulyanovsk, activists were fined who chained with chains to the autocrane

The Leninsky District Court of Ulyanovsk appointed fines of 10 thousand rubles to four Communist Party activists who chained themselves to autocrans, reports Ulgrad.

According to the publication, the court was fined by Nari Chatinyan, Viktor Vishnyakov, Denis Stylev and Andrei Ushanov. Judging by the Chatinyan case card on the court’s website, the activists drew up protocols under part 5 of Article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (violation by the participant in the public event of the established procedure for holding a meeting, rally, demonstration, procession or picket, with the exception of cases).

The incident occurred on May 25 on Cathedral Square, when the Communist Party activists entered the action against renaming the area. Two banners - with slogans about the resignation of the governor of the Ulyanovsk region Sergey Morozov and "Glory to Lenin!" - held by autocrains. Four activists chained themselves with chains to these autocrains.

In the evening they freed themselves from the chains and left the square.
