The coordinator of the "Left Front" Sergei Udaltsov, who is on a hunger strike while in a special detention center, was hospitalized. This was reported by Interfax with reference to his wife Anastasia Udaltsova.

The incident happened at 11 am. Details about the state of health of the oppositionist are still unknown.

Earlier, on August 19, on the fifth day of the hunger strike, Udaltsov was hospitalized in the city clinical hospital No. 52. Members of the PMC diagnosed him with "dehydration". According to them, Udaltsov also complained of pain in the kidneys.

Udaltsov went on a hunger strike on August 14 after the court sentenced him to 30 days of administrative arrest for allegedly “organizing another, unauthorized event, voicing slogans, destroying portraits of people resembling members of the government” before the start of a rally against pension reform on July 28 ".
