Primorye: The ex-head of the investigative department will appear before the court

An investigation was completed against the former deputy head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Primorsky Territory - the head of the investigative department Ilya Shamratov, who is accused of exceeding official powers and fraud.

According to the press service of the Investigative Committee of Russia, Shamratov from 2013 to 2017 took one-time premiums and additional material assistance from the investigative department and used at his discretion. The damage caused by the victims amounted to more than 12 million rubles.

In addition, in 2014, Shamratov illegally received a certificate of war veteran and thanks to this for three years received more than 80 thousand rubles.

The report notes that during the investigation, the accused tried to shift the responsibility for the leaders delayed to his subordinate. The criminal case with the indictment approved by the prosecutor was sent to the court for consideration on the merits.
