
49-year-old Andrei Kiselev, rector of the Church of the Epiphany of the Lord in the village of Chereshovsky, Pavlovsky district of the Altai Territory, was detained on suspicion of pedophilia. This was reported by TASS with reference to the press center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The name of the Archpriest is not given in the publication, but it is on the website of the Church itself.
Kiselev was imputed by paragraph "B" of part 4 of Article 132 of the Criminal Code (violent acts of a sexual nature in relation to a person under 14 years old). For such a crime, the Code provides for from 12 to 20 years in a colony with a restriction of freedom for up to 2 years, as well as with a ban on a profession for up to 20 years or without it.
According to the plot of the case, Kiselev committed the crime on the evening of July 20 on the banks of the Ob in the Oktyabrsky district of Barnaul. The victim was a schoolgirl born in 2005.
According to Altapress, VKontakte Kiselev was signed to the groups of the Academy of Voying Guys and Voying jokes, and in the "My World" - to the group "Male World".
The last entry on the VK page of the Archpriest, available to unregistered readers, appeared on February 10 this year, the next day after the opening ceremony of the Olympics in Pyeongchang, at which Russian athletes were held under a neutral flag. The post reads : "Boycot Coca Cola, Sponsor MOK!"
