Director Dmitry Krymov announced his departure from the School of Dramatic Arts

Director Dmitry Krymov announced his departure from the Moscow theatre School of Dramatic Art , where he headed one of the laboratories.

Krymov explained his decision with the words of dissident Andrei Sinyavsky: "My disagreements with the Soviet government are purely stylistic." Krymov added that his laboratory "will exist in every place" where he, his actors and artists will be.

The Teatral publication reported without citing sources that the plays directed by Krymov are planned to remain in the theater's repertoire next season. The management of the School of Dramatic Art did not comment on the news of Krymov's dismissal.

"I am leaving the theater where you gave me your love. I will miss you very much," Krymov said.
