DPR: Donetsk “closed for entry and exit”

Donetsk is "closed for entry and exit" in connection with the assassination of the leader of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic, Alexander Zakharchenko, Russian news agencies were told in the operational command of the DPR.

Earlier, Interfax sources announced the arrest of several "Ukrainian saboteurs and persons associated with them" on suspicion of the murder of Zakharchenko. At the same time, Life's sources claim that one of Zakharchenko's guards, who managed to escape, is suspected of the attempt.

In connection with the death of Zakharchenko, the DPR opened a criminal case on a terrorist attack.

• DPR leader Alexander Zakharchenko was killed on August 31 in an explosion near the Separ cafe in Donetsk. Several other people were also injured, including Alexander Timofeev, head of the DPR Ministry of Taxes and Revenues.
