In large cities of Russia, rallies were held against preparing "pension changes"

On September 2, throughout Russia, including Moscow, St. Petersburg, Novosibirsk, Irkutsk, Astrakhan and other cities, protests are held against the upcoming pension reform, mostly organized by the Communist Party, "fair Russia" or trade unions.

About 7.5 thousand people took part in Moscow in agreed rallies against changes to pension legislation, TASS said with reference to the press service of the GUMVD in Moscow.

"On Academician Sakharov Avenue, a public event agreed by the Moscow authorities is taking place. About 6 thousand people take part in it. Police officers in collaboration with representatives of the Russian Guard ensure the protection of public order and security of citizens," the agency’s interlocutor said.

Earlier, the metropolitan city hall agreed on the regional branch of the Communist Party of the Communist Party on Academician Sakharov Avenue with a total number of participants up to 15 thousand people.

In addition, an application submitted by a member of the regional branch of the Just Russia party was agreed to hold a rally on Suvorovskaya Square with the number of participants up to 2 thousand people.

The shares of Fair Russia on the Suvorovskaya Square of Moscow eventually took part in about 1,500 people, Interfax told on Sunday in the capital's head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation. The Ministry of Internal Affairs added that at the venue of the Security Promotion, police and the Russian Guard ensured.

The participants brought with them anti -government flags, banners and posters calling for stopping pension reform and think about pensioners. Activists distributed the appropriate leaflets.

The State Duma deputy from the Communist Party Sergei Panteleev was the first to act. He stated that the deficit of the Pension Fund can be closed by introducing progressive tax and state monopoly on alcohol and vodka products. In the rally resolution, its participants demanded to terminate the legislative execution of pension reform in the State Duma to the All -Russian referendum, to condemn the actions of deputies of the Legislative Assembly of Primorye, who supported it and send the current government to resign.

"The Communist Party believed and believes that the reform of the pension system prepared by the government is not justified and not thought out, according to its consequences, it will only worsen the financial situation of the majority," the rally resolution says.

Participants in the action also decided to support 20 deputies starving for the third day to the Duma of the Nadezhdinsky district from the Communist Party of the Communist Party, "Fair Russia", the LDPR and auto -vivvents. They set up a tent camp on the central square of Volno-Nadezhdinsky and demand from law enforcement agencies to conduct an audit on the fact of the alleged mass bribery of voters. “In the Altai Territory, we live worse than in the 1990s, and then life will only become worse. We became initiators of the referendum. The referendum is the only opportunity to impose a veto on such changes, but we take this right,” said the head of the Communist Party of the Communist Party Maria Prousakova in the framework of her speech.

She noted that the Communists will conduct a similar protest on September 22 - before considering the bill on amendments to the pension legislation in the second reading in the State Duma of the Russian Federation.

According to the results of the rally, a resolution was unanimously adopted with the requirements for the inadmissibility of amendments to the pension legislation, on the need for a referendum on this topic.

The agreed action against raising the retirement age was held in the capital of Crimea in the city of Simferopol in the park named after Gagarin. It began with a minute of silence through the famous artist Joseph Kobzon, who had died in the 81st year of life and the head of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic, who died from the explosion in Donetsk, Alexander Zakharchenko. According to the organizers, the rally was held without incidents. According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Karachay-Cherkess Republic, about 100 residents of the republic took part in the coordinated campaign against a change in pension legislation in Cherkessk. “The participants opposed an increase in the retirement age, increase in gas prices, the growth of housing and communal services, increase in taxes, VAT and prices,” the agency said in the regional branch of the Communist Party, which was the organizer.

The press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic announced a protest campaign near the Rodina cinema in Nalchik.

“In Nalchik, 150 people took part in the rally, public order was not committed,” the agency’s interlocutor said. In Stavropol, nine representatives of the Communist Party of the Communist Party held single pickets in different areas of the city.

"Party representatives advocated the all -Russian referendum to introduce a moratorium on raising the retirement age and against pension reform and increase the age of retirement," the organizers of the action in Stavropol said to the agency.

Reform as it is

The bill on amendments to the pension system proposed by the Government, which, in particular, implies the age of retirement for a long transition period up to 65 years for men and up to 63 years for women, was the first reading in the State Duma on July 19. After its approval, a large -scale discussion of the initiative continues, proposals for refinement of the bill will be collected and recorded in the form of amendments to the second reading.

On August 29, Russian President Vladimir Putin in his television showed to make adjustments to the bill, including establishing the age of retirement for women at 60 years. At the same time, the head of state noted the need to introduce the employer's responsibility for unreasonable dismissal or refusal to hire persons of pre -retirement age.

In addition, the president proposed to increase unemployment benefits for persons of pre-retirement age by double, to introduce a preferential retirement regime of 50-57 years for many children, advocated maintaining land tax and real estate for citizens at the current age level of retirement.

The changes proposed by the President should be prepared for the second reading of the bill, which is scheduled for September 24.
