At the end of July, the Communist Party also made a proposal to hold a federal referendum on raising the retirement age. The question they proposed was approved by the Central Election Commission on August 10. To date, it is known about two initiative subgroups registered by local election commissions from the Communist Party, to start collecting 2 million signatures, they need to have time to organize 43 such subgroups.
