Prince Foundation Estate began to publish previously unrelated records from the Prince archive, in which, according to some evidence, thousands of films and hundreds of unknown songs are stored. The first evidence that this legendary archive is not a myth will be the release of the album Piano & A Microphone 1983, dedicated to the 60th anniversary of the grandiose musician and artist, which was celebrated this year. This 35-minute album, who previously walked among the collectors, is the previously unrelated cassette record Prince , which was made in his home studio in Minnesota in 1983, that is, on the threshold of his all-American glory, which came after the appearance of the film and the album “ Purple Rain " . On Piano & A Microphone 1983, Prince , accompanying the piano, performs nine songs, including the great ballad “ Purple Rain ” and his most famous“ 17 Days ”beads, as well as the cover version of Gospel “ Mary Donat You Weep ” and Johni Mitchell's songs “ A Case of You ” .
