A truce should be declared in the Syrian province of Idlib, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said at a meeting with Iranian leader Hassan Rouhani and Russian President Vladimir Putin. It is reported by RIA Novosti.

Erdogan said that civilians would suffer because of the attacks, and a wave of migrants from Idlib would pour into Turkey. “Where will the population migrate? To Turkey. Putin supported the truce proposal, but noted that the summit participants cannot be held responsible for the armed opposition and terrorist groups in Idlib. “We can’t say for them, let alone say for the Jabhat al-Nusra and IS terrorists, that they will stop shooting or stop using drones with bombs,” the Russian president said.

The declaration adopted at the end of the summit expressed the intention of Russia, Turkey and Iran "to continue cooperation until the complete eradication of terrorists" in Syria, reports . TASS
