British journalists called the former Major of the FSB of Russia Boris Karpichkov one of the key witnesses in the case of the poisoning of Sergey and Julia Skripal. In March, Karpichkov, who was living in the UK for 20 years, said that on February 12 he received a warning from a source in Russian intelligence services about the impending attempts of Skripal and another seven political emigrants. There was his name on this list.

Karpichkov claims that in 2007 he was already trying to poison him in New Zealand and he miraculously survived. According to Karpichkov, a 54-year-old FSB officer who has a code name Gordon is standing for Skripal and his daughter. In April, Karpichkov spoke about this investigation during a five -hour interrogation.

Karpichkov has no doubt that the Russian special services are behind the poisoning in Salisbury, but he considers it wrong that Petrov and Boshirov worked for GRU. He told about this in an interview with Radio Liberty.

- I have such questions no less than a dozen. For example, about the "caring neighbor", who, together with his wife, for no reason, for some reason, had somewhat to meet the airport to meet Julia on March 3. In general, there are too many inconsistencies in the "investigation".

- It seems strange that the glaring unprofessionalism of the GRU employees (or, as you say, the FSB) who flew from Moscow flew to Moscow and left so many traces. Does it surprise you?

Regarding the "sophistication" of the method - I do not consider poisoning sophisticated. Poisoning with such drugs is a branded brand precisely the FSB. In the early 90s, I myself was invited to get rid of two "traitors" in Latvia, who threatened the failure of the spy group, which at that time I had to lead in the interests of the FSB.

- After such a scandal with Litvinenko’s poisoning, they again go to a similar murder in the UK, and everything is prepared so carelessly. Is this idiocy on their part or some sly game?

- Not idiocy and not a game, but the most ordinary and cynically calculated (although executed with a huge number of jambs) operation on a "public execution".

- And what are the main jambs?

- “Petrov” and “Boshirov” simply overwhelmed the matter. Although I reasonably do not consider them direct performers, but rather performed auxiliary functions and the main "delivery of the drug."

By the way, this took place in Litvinenko. According to my personal "research", in addition to performers, meadow and Kovtun, at least two other professionals came to London to fulfill the mission. One was engaged in coordination, and the second was a professional toptoon and watched Litvinenko’s movements after his meeting with the Italian professor Skramell, after which Litvinenko went to meet with Lugovo and Kovtun, on which he was poisoned. In this case, the purpose of the “outer’s outer” was clearly to establish whether the British special services were grazing Litvinenko - to identify possible counter -observation. - You gave extensive testimony in the Skripals case. How do you evaluate your role in exposing criminals? Are you not afraid that they will take revenge on you?

- I do not think that my information was suitable, although everything I spoke about was taken seriously. Moreover, the surname and operational pseudonym persons, which could be directly involved in the attempt on the Skripals, were not announced to me by chance. The problem is that local traces are not able to present anything to this person: unlike Petrov and Boshirov, he is a real pros.
