Navalny's headquarters coordinator was detained in Chelyabinsk

Boris Zolotarevsky, coordinator of Alexei Navalny’s headquarters, was detained in Chelyabinsk. This was reported by the telegram channel of the “Apology of Protest” project.

The activist was taken to the police department in the Central District. According to Zolotarevsky, before the arrest, the door to his apartment was cut down and a search was conducted.

UPD 16:34 Zolotarevsky was taken from the police department to the hospital in an ambulance. He complained of poor health due to the rough detention by the police, who, according to him, used force.

UPD 22:50 The Central District Court of Chelyabinsk arrested Zolotarevsky for nine days. Alexander Belyaev, the applicant of the action on September 9, reported this to OVD-Info. The protocol against him was drawn up under the article on organizing an uncoordinated event (2nd part of Article 20.2 of the Administrative Code).

• Zolotarevsky is a defendant in a criminal case in connection with the May 5 rally. He is suspected of hooliganism committed by a group of persons by prior conspiracy (Part 2 of Article 213 of the Criminal Code).
• On September 3, a criminal case was opened in Chelyabinsk on calls for mass riots (Part 3 of Article 212 of the Criminal Code) in connection with the preparation of an action against the pension reform on September 9. According to law enforcement officers, Taras Loboychenko, I. Valeev “and other unidentified persons” “called for mass riots, participation in them, and also called for the use of violence against law enforcement officers” during the action on September 9.
• The applicant of the action on September 9, Alexander Belyaev,was given a summons - the activist was summoned to the Investigative Committee for questioning in a criminal case. He is involved in the case as a witness.
• Before the rally against raising the retirement age on September 9, which is organized by Alexei Navalny’s team, police in different cities are detaining active protest participants.
