A criminal case was opened against a protest participant in Moscow for assaulting a police officer

One of the participants in the protest against the pension reform that took place in Moscow was charged with the use of violence against a representative of the authorities (part 1 of article 318 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).

“A man, taking part in an unauthorized event in the center of Moscow, in response to the lawful demands of a police officer, struck the latter in the head area,” the IC said in a statement.
