Pyotr Verzilov was detained at the entrance to his house
Member of the Pussy Riot group and publisher of "Mediazona" Pyotr Verzilov was arrested at the exit from the entrance of his own house. He was going to go to the Basmanny police department to deliver documents to Pussy Riot member Veronika Nikulshina and her friend Diana Dedenko, who were detained earlier during protests against pension reform.
It is not reported what kind of charges were brought against Verzilov.
In July, Pussy Riot participants received 15 days of administrative arrest for running onto the field in police uniform during the World Cup final and interrupting the game. They were tried and fined separately for wearing police uniforms.
On September 9, on a single voting day, protests are held throughout the country against raising the retirement age. In Moscow, the police detained at least 10 protesters. In St. Petersburg, up to 500 people were detained, according to Fontanka, in Yekaterinburg, according to OVD-Info, 58 detainees.
