"Vedomosti": the Kremlin demands from Zimin to leave the post of head of Khakassia

The Kremlin wants the current head of Khakassia, Uneneros Viktor Zimin, who lost to the first round of the governor’s elections to the communist Valentin Konovalov, resigned to the second round. This was reported by Vedomosti with reference to sources in the presidential administration.

In AP we are sure that Zimin is not able to defeat Konovalov in the second round. According to the source of the newspaper in the Kremlin, an uncontrollable situation has developed in the region, there is not enough money for salaries to state employees. “Let anyone be there, if only not to him,” said the interlocutor of the publication.

In the elections of the 9th, Zimin scored only 32.4 percent of the vote, while Konovalov was 44.8 percent. In addition to Khakassia , the second tours of the governor’s elections will be held in the Primorsky and Khabarovsk Territories, as well as in the Vladimir region.

56-year-old Zimin has been heading Khakassia since 2008.

In Primorye, the acting tour entered the second round Governor Uneneros Andrei Tarasenko with 46.6 percent of the vote and his competitor from the Communist Party Andrei Ishchenko, who received 24.6 percent.

In the Khabarovsk Territory, the leader of the race - Zhirinovets Sergey Furgal - only not much ahead of his 35.8 percent of the votes of the current governor of the unicorn Vyacheslav Shport, the result of which is called 35.6 percent.

In the Vladimir region, the current Governor of the Unicorn Svetlana Orlova is leading with 36.4 percent of the vote, but Zhirinovets Vladimir Sipyagin from 31.2 percent is inferior to her relatively inaccurately.

On September 9, the governor’s elections were held in 22 regions of the country. For the most part - 18 - the names of the winners were announced already according to the results of the first round. In Moscow, the current mayor Sergei Sobyanin won.

Also in 22 constituent entities of the Federation were elections of regional legislative assemblies. In three regions, the Communist Party went around "United Russia", in 11, the party in power did not gain 50 percent of the vote.

The Secretary of the General Council of United Russia Andrei Turchak promised that "in the very near future, the party will make both personnel and organizational conclusions" in connection with the failed results of regional elections.
