A relative of Sergei and Yulia Skripal, Victoria Skripal, at the same time stated that she knew Petrov and Boshirov. “Through my sources, I know that these are ordinary people. Petrov’s work is not even related to the civil service,” she said, adding that the men and their loved ones “are in complete bewilderment, shocked by what is happening.”
If Boshirov still resembles the photograph published by Britain in real life, then Petrov “was not even close” to his photograph and, moreover, was not in the UK at the time of the poisoning, Skripal emphasized.
