An exhibition of Banksi will be held in St. Petersburg

Today, September 14, in the arena of the stable department in St. Petersburg, the exhibition “Banksy: Genius or Vandal?” Opening, at which 68 works of the British street artist Banksy will be presented.

According to TASS with reference to the organizers of the exhibition, the exposition will include 27 originals of Banksy's works written by his hand, and 41 prints.

“The authenticity of the collection is confirmed by official authenticity certificates,” the organizers said. According to the producer of the exhibition Alexander Nachkubia, the originals belong to collectors from Great Britain, Denmark, Spain, Italy, the Netherlands, the USA and France.

The area of ​​the exhibition will be 1.5 thousand sq.m. In addition to Banksy’s work, it will be possible to see the photographs of graffiti created by him on the streets of Great Britain, and a multimedia installation telling about the artist.

Exhibition "Banksy: Genius or Vandal?" In St. Petersburg will last until November 5. From June 2 to September 2, she took place in the central house of the artist in Moscow, where she was visited by more than 300 thousand people. After St. Petersburg, the exhibition will go on a world tour, which includes Belgium, Spain, Italy, Mexico, Finland and France.
