The head of VTB announced a plan for dedollarization

The head of VTB Andrey Kostin spoke about the plan to abandon the US currency.

In an interview with Izvestia , he said that the plan consisted of four points.

1. Accelerated transition in settlements with foreign countries on export-import transactions to other currencies - euro, yuan or ruble.

2. Transfer of legal addresses of the largest Russian holdings to our jurisdiction. According to Kostin, the situation with Rusal, which fell under US sanctions, showed that "registration abroad complicates the implementation of further tasks."

3. Maximum transfer to the Russian platform for the placement of Eurobonds. "Get away from the primary depository in the form of Euroclear and switch to Russian."

4. Licensing of all stock market participants in such a way that they work according to the same rules.
