
The candidate for the Governor of Primorye from United Russia Andrei Tarasenko wins the second round of elections after processing 99.03% of the vote. He gains 49.02%, his rival is a candidate from the Communist Party Andrei Ishchenko - 48.56%.
After processing, Ishchenko won 95% of the vote with a noticeable margin - 51.6% versus 45.8%.
To win the second round of voting, the candidate must gain a simple majority of votes.
The Communist Party has already announced Tarasenko’s mass postscribes in some polling stations.
In the remaining three regions - in the Khabarovsk Territory, Khakassia and the Vladimir region, where the winner was not identified on the first round on September 9, the second round will be held on the next Sunday, September 23.
