The Oktyabrsky District Court fined Dmitry Melnikov, a participant in a rally against pension reform, a volunteer of the headquarters of Alexei Navalny, 150,000 rubles. Violetta Grudina, coordinator of the headquarters, told OVD-Info about this.
Melnikov was found guilty under part 8 of article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (repeated violation of the procedure for holding a public action).
Earlier, Grudina reported that on September 14, police officers came to the activist’s home and “forced him out and took him” to the department. According to her, Melnikov was threatened that they would leave him for the night with the police if he "did not cooperate." The headquarters coordinator also said that in the department, Melnikov saw a list of about ten names, in which he recognized the activists of Navalny's headquarters.
