The Dzerzhinsky District Court of St. Petersburg arrested Shahnaz Shitik, who suffered during a clash with riot police, for 20 days during a pension reform campaign. The court session was broadcast by human rights activist Dinar Idrisov.
Shitik was detained when she left the hospital. There, a protocol was drawn up against her under the article on repeated violation of the rules of the action (part 8 of article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses) and an explanation was taken as part of the check in the case of insulting a representative of the authorities (article 319 of the Criminal Code). In the department, the woman was left for the night, refusing to be hospitalized.
UPD September 19, 10:40 Dinar Idrisov posted on his Facebook that one of the police officers who accompanied Shitik threatened her with physical violence. “We’ll beat it and throw it into the ditch,” Idrisov reports what the police said from Shitik.
UPD 11:30 am Idrisov told OVD-Info that before being taken to the special detention center in the Shitik polyclinic, they did not even measure the pressure and gave the police a certificate of the possibility to place her in a special detention center. They also tried to take fingerprints from the activist.
