A group of bears sailed Lake Taurus in the Republic of Altai. Eyewitnesses were able to take them on a mobile phone.

The bear and two cubs crossed the lake in the area of ​​the Yurga River, the reserves reported in the Altai Biosphere. The video shot by eyewitnesses is published on YouTube.com.

The migration of the family could occur due to the search for new fodder lands or a big bear-male, noticed by the employees of the reserve, said the institution’s employee Yevgeny Veselovsky.

According to Teriologist Yuri Kalinkin, the bears are crossing the lake due to the uneven distribution of the cedar nut harvest.
