In Moscow, an underage participant in the September 9 rally was interviewed at the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. This was told to OVD-Info by the mother of her friend Maria Starostina.

On September 9, the girl was detained at a protest against pension reform. On September 17, an unknown person stopped her on the street and offered to talk to the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs on Petrovka, 38. During the conversation, the man demanded the phone numbers of active agitators from the girl for attending the rally, in case of refusal he promised to initiate criminal cases against the girl and her mother under the article on extremism. At the end of the conversation, the man asked the girl about the daughter of Maria Starostina.

Later, according to Starostina, Alexander Bakhirov, an employee of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, came to school No. 67, where both girls study, and announced his desire to talk with her daughter. The girl later told OVD-Info that she refused to talk without a lawyer or legal representative, but the deputy director insisted that the conversation take place and participated in it as a representative of the school administration. The law enforcement officer demanded from the girl the names and surnames, as well as the contacts of the main agitators for attending the rally. Before leaving, the employee asked her to go to the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs on September 20.

Maria Starostina noted that her daughter encourages classmates to attend rallies and talks a lot with them, changing the opinion of teenagers about the political situation in the country.

• On September 9, rallies and marches were held in many cities of the country against raising the retirement age, twelve of which were agreed with the authorities. According to OVD-Info, more than 1,195 people were detained, most of all in St. Petersburg - about 623 protesters.
