Primorye: The decision on the fate of the election of the governor will be taken on Thursday

The election commission of the Primorsky Territory on Thursday, September 20, will decide on the fate of the results of the governor’s elections, the violations on which led to protest in Vladivostok. This was reported by the Interfax agency.

The Russian centriezbirk recommended to cancel the results of elections in Primorye on Wednesday. Later, the head of the department Ella Pamfilova emphasized that the CEC is shocked by numerous violations. She promised the investigation "without regard to the personality of the organizers of falsifications."

Pamfilova also stated that she did not bother President Vladimir Putin on elections in Primorye. Earlier on Wednesday, the press service of the head of state said that the Kremlin supports the position of the Central Election Commission on the possible cancellation of the election results.

The CEC also doubted the competencies of the regional election commission of Primorye, since we are talking "about systemic, well -thought -out violations." Ella Pamfilova said that the Central Election Commission discovered the facts of "attributing" votes in 19 polling stations in Primorye. In whose favor they were attributed, she did not say.

The second round of elections of the Governor of the Primorsky Territory took place on September 16. They were leaded by the Candidate of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation Andrei Ishchenko, however, when the counting of the votes was already completed, the acting Governor of United Russia Andrei Tarasenko came forward with a slight margin. Observers drew attention to unusual results in a number of sites, where supposedly 100 percent of voters voted for Tarasenko. Ishchenko announced falsifications and called for protests to which thousands of residents of Vladivostok came to.
