In Murmansk, a volunteer of Navalny’s headquarters was fined 150 thousand rubles

The Oktyabrsky District Court of Murmansk fined Navalny's headquarters volunteer Dmitry Semenkov 150,000 rubles for the September 9 rally. Violetta Grudina, coordinator of the headquarters, told OVD-Info about this.

According to her, Semenkov was found guilty of repeated violation of the established procedure for organizing or holding a meeting, rally, demonstration, procession or picketing (part 8 of article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses).

• Semenkov was detained on the evening of September 13 in Murmansk along with other activists of Navalny's headquarters.
• OVD-Info collects court decisions in connection with the September 9 action.
• On September 9, rallies and marches were held in many cities of the country against raising the retirement age, twelve of which were agreed with the authorities. According to OVD-Info, more than 1,195 people were detained, most of all in St. Petersburg - about 623 protesters. There were no arrests in Murmansk on the day of the protests.
