In St. Petersburg, Yulia Lyakhovetskaya was detained on Nevsky Prospekt, who was standing in a solitary picket with a poster "Freedom to political prisoners." Together with her, they detained Svetlana Bogatko, who did not stand in the picket, but came up to ask the police officers what was the reason for the detention of Lyakhovetskaya. This was reported to OVD-Info by their friend Roman Samoilov.

According to him, Lyakhovetskaya was detained by the police for standing in a solitary picket after 22:00 (part 5 of article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses). For what reason Bogatko was detained is unknown. The girls are taken to the 28th police department of St. Petersburg.

UPD 00:13 The girls were brought to the police department and a delivery protocol was drawn up. As Lyakhovetskaya told OVD-Info, police officers forced them to take pictures, threatening them with 15 days of arrest. Now a human rights activist has come to Bogatko and Lyakhovetskaya, but she is not allowed to see the detainees.

UPD September 21 The detainees were released at about two in the morning without a protocol being drawn up. This was reported to OVD-Info by Yulia Lyakhovetskaya. According to her, the defender was not allowed to see them. The poster was seized from the girls. Lyakhovetskaya and Bogatko were obliged to report to the police department on September 22 to draw up a protocol. The document does not indicate which article is in question.
