Two GRU agents detained in the spring in the Netherlands and then deported to Russia, apparently, were the same Alexander Petrov and Ruslan Boshirov, who are suspected of involvement in the poisoning of the ex-special services of Sergei Skripal and his daughter Julia in Salisbury.

According to the international group of investigators Bellingcat and the publication of The Insider , citing sources in the law enforcement agencies of the Netherlands, we are talking about an episode that took place in the spring of 2018. Then the Netherlands prosecutor’s office detained two Russians on the way to the laboratory in the Swiss city of Spitz, which is known for helping to investigate Himatia in Syria, as well as the poisoning of the Skripals.

The detainees had technical means to hack a computer network. Moreover, according to the investigation, these same people participated in the hacking of the networks of the WADA anti -doping agency . The Russian Embassy in The Hague and Bern does not comment on the media information, RIA Novosti reports.

As an example, they give a copy of the passport of Eduard Shirokov (Shishmakov), whom Montenegro accuses of trying to organize a coup (The Insider calls him an employee of the GRU). "If their numbers end at 294 and 297, then Shirokov (Shishmakov) has the same passport number, but with the end of 323, that is, with a difference of 25 and 27 issued passports, respectively," the investigation said.

In the passport data of Boshirov from the Unified Information System "Russian Passport", the same mark "S.S." was discovered ("Top Secret") as Petrov’s. Also on the form there is a seal with a note "not to give information" and the same phone number-"195-79-66". In the investigation with reference to an extract from a single state telephone reference book, it is stated that this is the number of the Ministry of Defense.

Petrov and Boshirova are accused of involvement in the poisoning of ex-GRU employee Sergei Skripal and his daughter Julia. According to the British police, Petrov and Boshirov are employees of Russian special services. Moscow denies its involvement.
