A Zurich player fell into a ditch while celebrating his team's goal

Midfielder of the Swiss football club Zurich Benjamin Cololli amused the audience with his goal celebration in the away match of the first round of the UEFA Europa League group stage against AEK Larnaca. While celebrating a goal against the Cypriot team on their field, he fell into a hole.

The episode occurred in the 61st minute when Cololli converted a penalty. Having scored the ball, the footballer hurried to the fan sector. He jumped over the fence and fell into the deep ditch separating the stands from the field at the AEK stadium.

The victor was helped out of the pit and continued the match without receiving any serious damage.

Thanks to the only goal of the 26-year-old Kosovo Albanian, Zurich won 1:0. The Swiss team shares first place in its group with the German Bayer.
