In Moscow, Alexei Navalny was detained at the exit from a special detention center, where he spent 30 days of arrest. His press secretary Kira Yarmysh wrote about this on her Twitter.
The politician was taken to the police department in the Danilovsky district. According to Yarmysh, a report is being drawn up against Navalny under Part 4 of Article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (violation of the procedure for holding a public event, resulting in harm to human health or property). After that, he will be taken to the Simonovsky District Court.
At the end of August, the court arrested the politician for 30 days for the “Voter Strike” action on January 28, finding him guilty of repeated violation of the procedure for holding a public event (Part 8 of Article 20.2 of the Administrative Code).
